Remove all the walls and curtains so you can get closer and purely love. Have principles but do not use them to exclude or to judge the others. Stay far from idols, specially from those you made from your own principles. Have a powerful faith, but do not play the powerful.
تمام دیواروں اور پردوں کو ہٹا دیں تاکہ آپ قریب اور خالص محبت حاصل کر سکیں۔ اصول رکھیں لیکن ان کا استعمال دوسروں کو خارج کرنے یا فیصلہ کرنے کے لیے نہ کریں۔ بتوں سے دور رہو، خاص کر ان سے جنہیں تم نے اپنے اصولوں سے بنایا ہے۔ ایک طاقتور ایمان رکھیں، لیکن طاقتور کا کردار ادا نہ کریں۔

حق اور سچ کے قریب جانے کے لیے ہمیں ایک خوبصورت اور نرم دل کی ضرورت ہے۔
When everyone is trying to be something, be nothing. Range with emptiness. Human should be like a pot. As the pot is hold by its emptiness inside, human is hold by the awareness of his nothingness.
جب ہر کوئی کچھ بننے کی کوشش کر رہا ہے تو کچھ نہ بنیں۔ خالی پن کے ساتھ رینج۔ انسان کو برتن کی طرح ہونا چاہیے۔ جس طرح برتن اپنے اندر خالی پن سے پکڑا ہوا ہے، اسی طرح انسان کو اپنی عدمیت کی آگہی نے پکڑ رکھا ہے۔
There may be one fault in a man that conceals a thousand qualities, or one excellence that conceals a thousand faults. The little indicates much.
انسان میں ایک خامی ہو سکتی ہے جو ہزار خوبیوں کو چھپائے، یا ایک کمال جو ہزار عیبوں کو چھپائے۔ تھوڑا بہت اشارہ کرتا ہے۔
When a sincere woman begins to dance, the seven heavens, the earth, and all creatures begin to dance.
جب ایک مخلص عورت رقص کرنے لگتی ہے تو ساتوں آسمان، زمین اور تمام مخلوقات رقص کرنے لگتی ہیں۔
What does patience mean? It means to look at the thorn and see the rose, to look at the night and see the dawn. Impatience means to be short sighted as to not be able to see the outcome. The lovers of God never run out of patience, for they know that time is needed for the crescent moon to become full.
صبر کا کیا مطلب ہے؟ اس کا مطلب ہے کانٹے کو دیکھنا اور گلاب دیکھنا، رات کو دیکھنا اور صبح دیکھنا۔ بے صبری کا مطلب کم نظر ہونا ہے کہ نتیجہ دیکھنے کے قابل نہ ہو۔ خدا کے چاہنے والوں کا صبر کبھی ختم نہیں ہوتا کیونکہ وہ جانتے ہیں کہ ہلال کے مکمل ہونے کے لیے وقت درکار ہے۔
God is busy with the completion of your work, both outwardly and inwardly. He is fully occupied with you. Every human being is a work in progress that is slowly but inexplicably moving toward perfection. We are each an unfinished work of art both waiting and striving to be completed. God deals with each of us separately because humanity is a fine art of skilled penmanship where every single dot is equally important for the entire picture.
خدا آپ کے کام کی تکمیل میں ظاہری اور باطنی طور پر مصروف ہے۔ وہ آپ کے ساتھ پوری طرح مشغول ہے۔ ہر انسان ایک ترقی یافتہ کام ہے جو آہستہ آہستہ لیکن ناقابل بیان حد تک کمال کی طرف بڑھ رہا ہے۔ ہم ہر ایک فن کا ایک نامکمل کام ہیں جس کے مکمل ہونے کا انتظار اور کوشش دونوں ہیں۔ خدا ہم میں سے ہر ایک کے ساتھ الگ الگ سلوک کرتا ہے کیونکہ انسانیت ہنر مند قلم کا ایک عمدہ فن ہے جہاں ہر ایک نقطہ پوری تصویر کے لئے یکساں اہم ہے۔
If you look around, you can find a face of God in each thing, because He is not hidden in a church, in a mosque, or a synagogue, but everywhere. As there is no one who lives after seeing him, there is also no one dying after seeing him. Who finds Him, stays forever with him.
اگر آپ اپنے اردگرد نظر دوڑائیں تو آپ کو ہر چیز میں خدا کا چہرہ نظر آتا ہے کیونکہ وہ کسی گرجا گھر، مسجد یا عبادت گاہ میں نہیں بلکہ ہر جگہ چھپا ہوا ہے۔ جیسے اسے دیکھ کر جینے والا کوئی نہیں اسی طرح اسے دیکھ کر مرنے والا بھی کوئی نہیں۔ جو اسے پاتا ہے وہ ہمیشہ اس کے ساتھ رہتا ہے۔
If you want to change the way others treat you, you should first change the way you treat yourself. Unless you learn to love yourself, fully and sincerely, there is no way you can be loved. Once you achieve that stage, however, be thankful for every thorn that others might throw at you. It is a sign that you will soon be showered in roses.
اگر آپ دوسروں کے ساتھ سلوک کرنے کے طریقے کو تبدیل کرنا چاہتے ہیں، تو آپ کو پہلے اپنے آپ کے ساتھ برتاؤ کرنے کا طریقہ بدلنا چاہیے۔ جب تک آپ اپنے آپ سے پوری طرح اور خلوص سے محبت کرنا نہیں سیکھیں گے، آپ سے محبت کرنے کا کوئی طریقہ نہیں ہے۔ ایک بار جب آپ اس مرحلے کو حاصل کرلیں، تاہم، ہر کانٹے کے لیے شکر گزار ہوں جو دوسرے آپ پر پھینک سکتے ہیں۔ یہ اس بات کی علامت ہے کہ جلد ہی آپ کو گلاب کے پھولوں کی بارش کی جائے گی۔

Some accidentally, some because of disease, some suffer from human loss, some other from material loss … We all face these situations, but we can either see the good in it and open our hearts, or unfortunately see an another occasion to lock it forever.
حق اور سچ کے قریب جانے کے لیے ہمیں ایک خوبصورت اور نرم دل کی ضرورت ہے۔ ہر انسان ایک نہ ایک دن نرم ہونا سیکھتا ہے۔ کچھ حادثاتی طور پر، کچھ بیماری کی وجہ سے، کچھ انسانی نقصان کا شکار ہوتے ہیں، کچھ مادی نقصان سے… ہم سب ان حالات کا سامنا کرتے ہیں، لیکن ہم یا تو اس میں اچھائی دیکھ سکتے ہیں اور اپنے دل کھول سکتے ہیں، یا بدقسمتی سے تالا لگانے کا کوئی اور موقع دیکھ سکتے ہیں۔ یہ ہمیشہ کے لئے.
Most of the problems of the world stems from linguistic mistakes and simple misunderstandings. Don’t ever take words at face value. When you step into the zone of love, language as we know it becomes obsolete. That which cannot be put into words can only be grasped through silence.
دنیا کے زیادہ تر مسائل لسانی غلطیوں اور سادہ غلط فہمیوں سے جنم لیتے ہیں۔ الفاظ کو کبھی بھی قیمت پر مت لیں۔ جب آپ محبت کے میدان میں قدم رکھتے ہیں تو زبان جیسا کہ ہم جانتے ہیں وہ متروک ہو جاتی ہے۔ جسے الفاظ میں بیان نہیں کیا جا سکتا اسے خاموشی سے ہی سمجھا جا سکتا ہے۔
If you expect respect from others, show it first to yourself. You can’t expect from others what you don’t give to yourself.
اگر آپ دوسروں سے عزت کی امید رکھتے ہیں تو اسے پہلے اپنے آپ کو دکھائیں۔ آپ دوسروں سے وہ توقع نہیں رکھ سکتے جو آپ خود کو نہیں دیتے۔
The real dirt is not outside, but inside, in our hearts. We can wash all stains with water. The only one we can’t remove is the grudge and the bad intentions sticking to our hearts.
اصل غلاظت باہر نہیں، اندر، ہمارے دلوں میں ہے۔ ہم تمام داغ پانی سے دھو سکتے ہیں۔ صرف ایک ہی چیز جسے ہم دور نہیں کر سکتے وہ ہے رنجش اور برے ارادوں کو جو ہمارے دلوں سے چپکی ہوئی ہے۔
Do not worry about tricks and cheaters. If some people are trying to trap and hurt you, Allah is also trapping them. Hole diggers will always fall in their holes. No bad remains unpunished, and no good remains without being awarded, so have faith in justice and let the rest be.
چالوں اور دھوکے بازوں کی فکر نہ کریں۔ اگر کچھ لوگ آپ کو پھنسانے اور تکلیف پہنچانے کی کوشش کر رہے ہیں تو اللہ بھی انہیں پھنس رہا ہے۔ سوراخ کرنے والے ہمیشہ اپنے سوراخوں میں گریں گے۔ کوئی بُرا سزا کے بغیر نہیں رہتا اور کوئی نیکی انعام کے بغیر نہیں رہتی، لہٰذا انصاف پر یقین رکھیں اور باقی رہنے دیں۔
The past is a fog on our minds. The future? A complete dream. We can’t neither guess the future, neither change the past.
ماضی ہمارے ذہنوں پر ایک دھند ہے۔ مستقبل؟ ایک مکمل خواب۔ ہم نہ مستقبل کا اندازہ لگا سکتے ہیں اور نہ ہی ماضی کو بدل سکتے ہیں۔
A good man complains of no one; he does not look to faults.
اچھا آدمی کسی سے شکایت نہیں کرتا۔ وہ عیبوں کی طرف نہیں دیکھتا۔
Most of conflicts and tensions are due to language. Don’t pay so much attention to the words. In love’s country, language doesn’t have its place. Love’s mute.
زیادہ تر تنازعات اور تناؤ زبان کی وجہ سے ہوتے ہیں۔ الفاظ پر اتنا دھیان نہ دیں۔ وطنِ محبت میں زبان کی جگہ نہیں ہوتی۔ محبت خاموش ہے۔
It is easy to love perfection. The difficulty consists in loving the human with his good and bad. We mostly know as much as we love. Only loving God but not its creatures, you can never really know, neither really love.
کمال سے محبت کرنا آسان ہے۔ مشکل انسان کو اس کے اچھے اور برے سے پیار کرنے میں ہے۔ ہم زیادہ تر جانتے ہیں جتنا ہم پیار کرتے ہیں۔ صرف خدا سے محبت کرتے ہیں لیکن اس کی مخلوق سے نہیں، آپ واقعی کبھی نہیں جان سکتے، نہ ہی واقعی محبت۔
We can only learn and advance with contradictions. The faithful inside should meet the doubtful. The doubtful should meet the faithful. Human slowly advances and becomes mature when he accepts his contradictions.
ہم تضادات کے ساتھ ہی سیکھ سکتے ہیں اور آگے بڑھ سکتے ہیں۔ اندر کے وفا دار کو مشکوک سے ملنا چاہیے۔ شک کرنے والوں کو مومنوں سے ملنا چاہیے۔ انسان آہستہ آہستہ آگے بڑھتا ہے اور بالغ ہوتا ہے جب وہ اپنے تضادات کو قبول کرتا ہے۔
The path to the Truth is a labour of the heart, not of the head. Make your heart your primary guide! Not your mind. Meet, challenge and ultimately prevail over your nafs with your heart. Knowing your ego will lead you to the knowledge of God.
حق کا راستہ دل کی محنت ہے سر کی نہیں۔ اپنے دل کو اپنا بنیادی رہنما بنائیں! آپ کا دماغ نہیں۔ ملو، چیلنج کرو اور آخرکار اپنے نفس پر دل سے غالب رہو۔ اپنی انا کو جاننا آپ کو خدا کی معرفت تک لے جائے گا۔
The life we live is just a colourful and deposit toy.
Some of us take it so seriously and fight and cry for it.
Some of us break and throw it.
Either we give extreme importance, either not enough.
Better to stay far from extremes.
ہماری زندگی بس ایک رنگین اور جمع کھلونا ہے۔ ہم میں سے کچھ اسے اتنی سنجیدگی سے لیتے ہیں اور اس کے لیے لڑتے اور روتے ہیں۔ ہم میں سے کچھ اسے توڑ کر پھینک دیتے ہیں۔ یا تو ہم انتہائی اہمیت دیتے ہیں، یا تو کافی نہیں۔ حد سے دور رہنا بہتر ہے۔
If you are insulted, if you are accused, if they gossip about you, don’t say anything bad. Don’t be the one who sees the shame, be the one who corrects it.
اگر آپ کی توہین کی جاتی ہے، اگر آپ پر الزام لگایا جاتا ہے، اگر وہ آپ کے بارے میں گپ شپ کرتے ہیں، تو کچھ برا نہ کہیں۔ وہ نہ بنو جو شرم کو دیکھے، اسے درست کرنے والے بنو۔
The words we use for the Creator are a reflect of ourselves. If we think of God as fear and shame, we are scared and have something to be ashamed of … But if we see love, compassion and kindness, it is because we possess these qualities.
ہم خالق کے لیے جو الفاظ استعمال کرتے ہیں وہ ہماری ذات کی عکاسی کرتے ہیں۔ اگر ہم خدا کو خوف اور شرم کے طور پر سوچتے ہیں، تو ہم خوفزدہ ہیں اور شرمندہ ہونے کے لئے کچھ ہے … لیکن اگر ہم محبت، رحم اور مہربانی دیکھتے ہیں، تو یہ اس وجہ سے ہے کہ ہم ان خصوصیات کے مالک ہیں.
Whoever lives as he sees fit will not die as he sees fit.
جو شخص اس طرح جیتا ہے جیسا وہ مناسب سمجھتا ہے وہ اس طرح نہیں مرے گا جیسے وہ مناسب دیکھتا ہے۔
Nothing kills the soul that commands to evil (Nafs al Ammarra) like seeing the beauty of the heart.
نفس کو کوئی چیز ہلاک نہیں کرتی جو برائی کا حکم دیتی ہے (نفس الامارہ) دل کی خوبصورتی کو دیکھ کر۔
If the human being is a proud and honorable creature, he shouldn’t forget to act that way, even if he falls, even if the whole world is against him, even if he ends as a slave.
اگر انسان ایک قابل فخر اور باوقار مخلوق ہے تو اسے ایسا کام کرنا نہیں بھولنا چاہیے، چاہے وہ گر جائے، چاہے ساری دنیا اس کے خلاف ہو، چاہے وہ غلام ہی کیوں نہ ہو جائے۔
If a person claims that he really loves someone, evidence is asked from him. And that evidence is the giving away of possessions, the granting of favors. Just as when Mevlana claimed that he loved me, when I came he granted me thousands of favors and protected me. I regard these all as a grace from God.
اگر کوئی شخص یہ دعویٰ کرتا ہے کہ وہ واقعی کسی سے محبت کرتا ہے تو اس سے ثبوت مانگے جاتے ہیں۔ اور وہ ثبوت ہے مال کا دینا، احسانات دینا۔ بالکل اسی طرح جب میولانا نے دعویٰ کیا کہ وہ مجھ سے محبت کرتا ہے، جب میں آیا تو اس نے مجھے ہزاروں احسانات سے نوازا اور میری حفاظت کی۔ میں ان سب کو خدا کا فضل سمجھتا ہوں۔
Being the companion of the folk of this world is fire. There must be an Abraham if the fire is not going to burn [you].
اس دنیا کے لوک کا ساتھی ہونا آگ ہے۔ اگر آگ [آپ] کو جلانے والی نہیں ہے تو ایک ابراہیم ہونا چاہئے۔
While the parts change, the whole always remains the same. For every thief who departs this world, a new one is born. And every decent person who passes away is replaced by a new one. In this way not only does nothing remain the same but also nothing ever really changes.
جب کہ پرزے بدلتے ہیں، سارا ہمیشہ ایک جیسا رہتا ہے۔ اس دنیا سے جانے والے ہر چور کے لیے ایک نیا جنم لیتا ہے۔ اور ہر مہذب شخص جو مر جاتا ہے اس کی جگہ ایک نیا آتا ہے۔ اس طرح نہ صرف کچھ بھی ایک جیسا نہیں رہتا بلکہ حقیقت میں کبھی بھی کوئی چیز تبدیل نہیں ہوتی۔
The salat can be made up for, but there is no making up for false show or outward worship without presence.
نماز تو قضا ہو سکتی ہے، لیکن بغیر موجودگی کے جھوٹے دکھاوے یا ظاہری عبادت کی قضا نہیں ہے۔
When you oppose the shaykh, it’s like the slave who kills himself over a quarrel with his master. ‘Hey, why are you killing yourself over a quarrel?’ He says, ‘So my master will suffer loss.’
جب آپ شیخ کی مخالفت کرتے ہیں تو یہ اس غلام کی طرح ہے جو اپنے آقا سے جھگڑے پر اپنی جان لے لیتا ہے۔ ‘ارے، جھگڑے پر خود کو کیوں مار رہے ہو؟’ وہ کہتا ہے، ‘تو میرے آقا کو نقصان ہو گا۔’
‘Alms in secret extinguish the wrath of the Lord’ means you are so immersed in sincerity and in preserving that sincerity that you have no pleasure in giving alms.
‘خفیہ طور پر صدقہ رب کے غضب کو بجھا دیتا ہے’ کا مطلب ہے کہ آپ خلوص اور اس اخلاص کی حفاظت میں اتنے ڈوبے ہوئے ہیں کہ آپ کو خیرات دینے میں کوئی خوشی نہیں ہے۔
If parts are always changing, the whole remains the same. A dead good man is replaced by a good man, a dead bad man is replaced by a bad man. While the whole remains the same, every day is different.
اگر حصے ہمیشہ بدلتے رہتے ہیں، تو پورا ایک ہی رہتا ہے۔ ایک مردہ اچھے آدمی کی جگہ اچھا آدمی آتا ہے، ایک مردہ برے آدمی کی جگہ ایک برے آدمی آتا ہے۔ جبکہ سارا ایک ہی رہتا ہے، ہر دن مختلف ہوتا ہے۔
